As we gather with family and friends today, let’s remember the true meaning of this special day. Many years ago, a child was born—a gift of mercy and grace given to all for our redemption. This child was flawless and would bore our shame, he would becoming our Savior, our King, our Hope. He suffered so we don’t have to, and he provides us with comfort and strength when we need it most.
This season is about that child. This season is about hope, and it’s about all of us. Are we willing to abide, to follow, and to love? Let’s keep Christ at the center of our celebration, because this season is truly about Him—our Lord and Savior. Immanuel, “GOD is With US”
